Newest Glee! 83

Sighing, Jenn walked into her living room and shut off the tv, a couple of the lights, and went to the door to put her shoes on. Her and some other people were going to the local carnival, right beside the river and a small park for kids. Her sister had volunteered to watch Savannah for the night, and Jenn was more than happy for it. The last thing she needed was to be with a screaming toddler at a carnival. She went outside and sat on a bench outside, waiting for the door next door to open.

(Such a great starter! XD)

Puck opened up the door to his house,swiftly turning around and locking it behind him.He looked to the house next to him,seeing jenn sitting on a bench. He smiled,walking over to her with a unique swagger,sitting down next to her. He smiled brightly to her and took her hand within his own.

"Hey," Jenn smiled brightly, craning her neck and giving him a peck on the cheek. "We should get going so that we don't miss the others getting in..." She smoothed out her sundress over her lap and stomach, then stood up with his hand in her own. "You agreed to drive for me, right?" she asked with a weary smile.

Puck affectionatley kissed her back on the cheek and nodded, happily leading her to his car,graciously inviting her in like a gentleman. he swiftly opened the door and bowed for her polietly,but jokingly as he smiled up to her.

Jenn smiled and laughed, getting into the car as quickly as she could without hurting herself. She grabbed the door and slammed it shut, then clipped herself in the seatbelt, making sure to cover her large stomach. "Why aren't we talking tonight, huh?" she asked him as he got in the driver's seat of the car.

Puck slid in and began to use some mime-gestures to communicate with her-then stopped himself and began to laugh. "Sorry...." He said with a chuckle as he started up the car,not even bothering to put his seatbelt on.He began to pull out of the driveway,making sure not to hit anything as he did so.

Jenn laughed slightly and nuzzled against his arm, sighing and closing her eyes. "Having fun acting like a mime?" she asked with a slight chuckle in her voice. "And I can see that we don't care if we get in a car accident or not..." A calm smile was still on her face, and it brightened even more when she saw the colorful lights appearing up ahead.

"Nope,not really..." Puck said with a chuckle,as he looked into his rear-veiw mirror. He hastily swirved into in the parking lot,picking a slot nearest the grass, just in case jenn would be tired when the night was over. He parked the car perfectly and pulled the key out of the ignition,opening up the door and stepping onto the cold pavement.

Jenn stepped out as well, making her way onto the grass and staring at everything in front of them. All the lights, all the rides, all the little kids laughing and running around with cotton candy. It certainly made her a lot happier than she was before, and made her become a lot more relaxed than she ever was. "Where do we meet the others?" she asked Puck, latching onto him again and tangling her fingers in with his.

"I dunno..." he said,pulling out his phone and starting to dial a number. "I'll call artie..." he mumbled,looking to Jenn. "I...I really like Artie,okay?" he said with a small laugh as he pressed the phone to his ear. ARtie phone began to ring as he wiftly opened it up and pressed it to his ear. "helooo~" he said is his joking wanna-be cool voice with a small laugh. 'Dude,where are you" Puck asked looking around once. "Oh...I can see you...we'll be over there in a second..." ARtie said,hanging up the phone and shoving it back in his pocket.

Jenn smiled and looked up to Puck. "I can see them... They're coming over here right now." She nodded over to where Artie was, then sat down on the picnic bench in back of them. She didn't exactly feel like standing right then. Still, she wore the big smile on her face, and waved the others over to where they were.

Artie smiled as he was wheeled over to them by Adrienne.He smiled as he was wheeled over to Jenn."Heyy~" he said,pulling out his hands and snapping towards Puck.Puck chuckled and sat down on the hard,wooden bench. Adrienne sat down next to jenn and smiled to her and then puck.

"Hey guys," Jenn said sweetly, leaning on Puck's arm again. "What rides you guys thinking of going on?" she asked, folding over her dress again. She didn't want to make things awkward, but she had a feeling it was going to go that way, anyways.

Adrienne gulped. "Um..." She mumbled quietlhy,trying to get Jenn to realise what she just said.Artie noticed it himself,but- he decided to stay quiet by staring blankley into his lap.Puck gently nudged Jenn to get her to look up to realise- uh oh,you just said that to wheel-chair kid.

Jenn gasped to herself over what she'd just said and covered her mouth with one hand. "I-I'm sorry, I didn't mean to... Artie, please don't be mad, I forgot...!" she pleaded, leaning as far forwards as she could. If there was a way to ruin something, Jenn could find it, and no doubt carry it out. "Wh-what are you guys going to do, then...?" she asked nervously, hoping she wouldn't sturr up anything else.

Artie nodded once and showed her a meak smile,looking down to his left wheel."P...probably just talk....look around...." Adrienne said quietly,looking over to Artie who seemed a little upset- and he was, not because of what jenn said- no, he knew he couldn't actually Do anything at the carnival...but...that's what upset him...he wished he could do all of these things, but sadley- that would never come to pass.Puck coughed once and held her hand closer,trying not to focus on the akward moment.

"O-okay..." Jenn sighed, her heart racing and her hands getting sweaty. She HATED when she did this. She had to do something to make Artie feel better... She didn't mean to make him feel so alone and different. "I can't go on most rides either..." she told them sincerely, looking down at her lap. "It won't be good for either of us, and I don't think me throwing up on Puck is a good thing..."

Artie nodded solumely and coughed once,pushing his glasses back up his nose.Puck sighed and stroked his fore-head a few times and gently rubbed jenn's hand to comfert her during the most akward of situations.Adrienne gently placed her hands on her lap,kicking her leg forward once.

"I always do this..." Jenn sighed, hiding her head in Puck's shoulder to hide the blush. She hated being in the awkward situations, let alone being the one who started them. She set hand on her stomach and groaned, feeling a small kick from the young infant. That always happened right when she thought the situation couldn't get any worse.

Puck gently put his arm around her and softly placed his hand ontop of hers on her stomach. He didn;t like seeing jenn in pain like this- but it was all worth it.Adrienne looked over to Artie,to see him looking back- he smiled, and so did she in return.

Jenn peeked her head out and gave a sorry look to Artie. "L-let's go look around," she told them, leaning on Puck instead of hiding in back of him. Sure she'd made it awkward, but she couldn't help it anymore. "We can find some games to play or something..."

ADrienne nodded,standing up and taking Artie's wheelchair handels in her hands.Puck sighed,standing up and taking jenn's hand protectivley,beggining to swirve her through the dark,damp grass in the carnival lighting. Adrienne and Artie followed behind- ARtie looking as content as could be.

Jenn followed closely at Puck's side, and kept making her hold on his hand tighter. She was really nervous about everything. She'd just dissed one of her closest friends, she was out somewhere where anyone could say something nasty to her. But with Puck, she didn't care, She was going to have a fun time tonight, no matter what anyone told her.

Puck smiled and released her hand,straddling his arm around her waist and sticking his hand in the right pocket of her tights.He sighed happily as he looked around,then looked bck down to her. 'Do you want anything...?" he asked curiously,motioning over to the candy stand.Artie smiled brightly up to Adrienne, she returned the smile,dropping the handles and draping her arms around him,gently pushing him forward.He smiled and gently caressed her face with his hand,causing her smile to grow.

Jenn smiled and leaned over closer, crossing her arms over her stomach and smiling. "Yeah, I'm having one of those cravings for something sweet..." she told him, looking up with a small smile. "Don't you want to do more than just sit around, though?" There was so much to do, so many rides, but because of her, he felt guilty and would sit around with her, doing nothing all night.
